Hey Rob wat grappig iemand die Nederlands spreekt! Ik hoop dat Aptera snel gaat uitleveren naar andere staten en europa. Wij zijn er wel aan toe met bijna 1,70 euro per liter. :)

For an indication you can go to this thread (http://www.apteraforum.com/showthread.php?t=1117&highlight=sound+aptera). I hope with some noise isolation the Aptera will do even better.

If you were motivated, you could install a small external speaker to broadcast Jetsons car noise as you drove down the highway in your Aptera. For added realism, link the noise "putter" rate to the position of the accelerator pedal.

As a 2008 Prius owner, I can tell you that a little noise is a GOOD thing. Perhaps a gentle whine from the drive motor, deflected to the EXTERIOR of the vehicle. The LAST thing you want is another "Bell the Hybrid" act against the Aptera.

Ik heb #3448 en ik verwacht mijn Aptera op ongeveer 1 Januari 2010 (en dat is natuurlijk ook maar een gok). Geen idee wanneer ze de rest van de USA zullen doen, en Europa... Ik geloof van je eerdere post dat sommige regels wat anders zijn daar, maar wellicht kun je er eentje importern:p Dure grap. Wel, mocht je tegen die tijd 'toevallig' naar Los Angeles komen (waar ik nu al weer tien jaar woon), moet je zeker een ritje komen maken - wel een fles jenever meenemen hoor, dat ontbreekt er hier onder palmboom nog aan...

I would still bike but do not detract, Matthijs! I have # 3448 and I expect my Aptera at around January 1, 2010 (which is, of course, but feeling lucky). I do not know if they contain the rest of the USA will do, and Europe ... I think your previous post that some rules are something else there, but perhaps you can single-handedly importern Expensive joke. Well, if you by that time 'accidentally' come to Los Angeles (where I now live another ten years), you should definitely come to a ride - a bottle of gin bring hear, that is missing here under a palm tree still .. .
