You can see Arnold in a Tesla Roadster.

You can see him posing with a (fake) Chevy Volt.

You can even see him in POS Zenn NEV!

WHERE IS ARNOLD AND AN APTERA!!!

Aptera should contact the Governor's office and see if they can get him for their next big public event. I think Arnold would be happy to give a plug for a California electric car company.

I don't think the Aptera is the governor's style. After all, Arnold is the one responsible for the civilian version of the Humvee (Hummer H1 Alpha) in the first place.

Yeah, he'll be seen in high performance (looking) cars that claim to be green, but the Aptera has more of the cachet of the early Volkswagen Beetle with a Jetson-y look to it.

The govenator may sidle up to the Aptera once the California company actually starts making good, but not before. He won't want to be associated with yet another vaporware manufacturer.

The Vaporware aspect is a good point.

But I don't think he is put off by the Aptera style . . . he sat in a Zenn! . . . a Canadian car that can't do highway speeds. The California Aptera is surely a step up from that.

But he does like a party.
It would be neat if they rolled out their first dozen sales at one time with a big party - Band, parade, TV cameras, Arnold handing over the keys (and $1,500 check for MEV rebate) to the lucky first owners... - and invited us all to gawk, cheer and drool. There's plenty of open space near their bldg where they could invite 3,000 of their closest friends. It wouldn't even have to cost them much -- I'd pay for an admission ticket. It would make up for their close-mouthed approach to date.

Brilliant idea! I'll be there! They sure need some sort of a formal event when they roll out the first ones, and if they announce it to the forum, at least half of us would be there, is my guess. Great crowd, I'll pay for my drink. Between all of us geeks with tape measure, camera and what not there will be food on the forum for weeks! Heck, I'll even go if Ah-nuld isn't there :)
