They look like Recaro type sport seats with side bolsters.
That's the most exciting development for me lately:happy0025:

We knew it was coming, but it's nice to see :)

Those are computer-displayed meters for various aspects of the car, although it's a bit hard to read. If anyone wants to take a go at it, I'd like to see what they think it's showing.

I was all excited. Thought I scooped the seats, until I found the discussion in another thread.
They look alot nicer, hope they're comfy.
The screen shot appears to have a dial readout. I see green/yellow/red in the dial
I'm betting a state of charge indicator.

Here's my best attempt at interpreting the what the dials say.

Left: -60, 0, 60, 120, 180, 240, 320, 400. The line is at 0.
Second from left: 0, 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90, 100. The line is at 0.
Right: Max: 3,234
Below that: Min: 3,192
Bottom left: ????: 3
Bottom middle: ????
Above that: 0 - (100?). The line is 2/3rds of the way up.
Bottom right: Can't read it.

Flickr also has a lot of new photos of the Aptera associated with the Plaid Nation visit, just go to Flickr, type in "Aptera", and select MOST RECENT. I am still trying to figure out what or who the Plaid Nation is. I think I'm too old.

I agree with 3-4-me that the left dial is amps. -60 would represent full regen and 400 motor amps (which matches the Azure specs to some degree). The max/min numbers could be battery voltages - these numbers are close the the 3.3V nominal voltage for the a123 cells. The bar graph might be a battery pack capacity gauge. Don't have any guesses for the others...

Exciting though!

Ah, yes, very good guesses!

I was thinking that the 0 - 100 is speed, since the top speed is 85-90mph.

I agree. They're assuming it's free to charge the batteries. I think it they should say "up to 200 MPG" 230 at most depending on gas/electricity prices.

Extremely recumbent, although it's exagerated because the passenger seat is missing. He's actually placing his foot where the seat would be. Makes you think twice about taking grandma out for a ride in the Aptera.

Noticed the cracked AC plug, too. Hey, but my hope is to get that NEMA 5-15 out of there and get in a Level 2 + Level 3 connector or something similar. ;)

I noticed that the Aptera does look like it will be a bit wide. If you look at the video at the 47 second marker you can see that it takes up from stripe to parking stripe. I don't know what the standard width for parking stripes are, but I have never used up that much space in my Chevy TrailBlazer. Ups I just gave away why I am very much instered in the Aptera. Hope they can be smuggled into Florida someday.
