What's up at Aptera? Lots of new job openings...

While all of us here at ApteraForum would like to get more updates and communication from the factory, I think Aptera is quite busy hiring new personnel and putting together their new manufacturing facility. Then again, if Tony Kirton could just throw us a bone (or a newsletter) once in a while...

8 positions now listed on the jobs page and the Operations Manager position alone, will supervise a workforce of 100(!).

Operations Manager

Job Description: This position is responsible for all aspects of the Aptera assembly facility and a workforce of approximately 100 employees. The Operations Manager will have input into the strategic direction and decisions for current and future products.

Qualifications and Skills:
BA in Business or Engineering
5-7 years prior experience in operations management
Experience in an automotive assembly environment is a plus

I think those job openings have been there for a while, although I do not recall seeing the number of 100 employees before. Does give a bit of an idea what the (fully staffed?) factory might look like. And it raises more questions. For example: there was some rumor here the other day about warehouse being sold in Vista. Did it have sufficient parking for this many people? Would these 100 people work in multiple shifts or all at once? Have any of these 100 people been hired yet?

Workforce of 100... that's pretty ambitious!
