Something I don't know?:

"The Aptera Typ-1 has its batteries charged from a regular household socket much like any other electric vehicle, but it is able to more than double its range by harnessing the power of the sun – its roof features a bank of solar cells that top up the car’s batteries."

If that was the case (we know it's not) I'd switch to the 2e, immediately.

The thing I noticed in this article is that they specifically state that the aptera 2e should begin deliveries this year. some had speculated that it was going to be Q4 of 2009 before the vehiche was available.

Yeah, that's just garbage. I've never seen Aptera say anything like that and the laws of physics say "No".
