Thanks for posting that. I haven't seen this footage before. It's like a fresh bone for this dog :)

Car does sound a little loud tho :o

I wonder how much louder the hybrid will sound with it's little generator running at the same time

Babelfish says "Fibra de vidro" means "fiberglass" in Portugese.

A couple observations.

0.39: Look at how much of the turn lane it takes up! :P Guess it is as wide as some people had feared. Oh well -- guess it's necessary for stability.

0:49: On the other hand, looking at this shot, it looks like the main driving lane is much wider than the turn lane. So is this a wide driving lane or a narrow turn lane?

Hmm. I think I'll need to check out Google Earth and see if I can get a good sense of scale.

Update: Just southeast of Aptera Motors (2778 Loker Ave. West), you can see the sort of road structure visible in the video. Looks like these are either abnormally small turn lanes or abnormally large regular lanes, indeed. Let's see if I can get a sense of just how small.

Update 2: Looks like the turn lanes are about 11' and the regular lanes about 19'. Once again, that's seem to indicate that the Aptera is about 8' wide. That's a pretty big footprint.

At frame 0:50 the chase vehicle appears to be a Chevy truck.
I looked up the specs, and it shows a width of 79.1"
I don't think the size will be much of a problem at all.
I'd bet it seems small driving, and will probably take getting used to the wheels hanging out there.
