Really love the new, bright, clean look.
Good job to whoever did it...I have noticed that Admin has been here more.
The only small "qwibble" is that the aptera shown is not a real live aptera and that maybe when we get updated photos we should put a side shot of a true 2e up.
But really nice changes, at least to me. Very pleasing to the eyes.

Agreed. The forum update looks great.
Just a quibble about Aptera not sending you guys a glam shot of the first 2e to roll off the line, from Jan 15th... :aptera:
It's more reassuring than a CG render.

I'm trying to work on the color scheme for the site on the default theme. Might take a while to get it looking best. If anyone has any suggestions, let me know.

Can you also try to deactivate the digg links on the default theme? Here is why. (http://www.apteraforum.com/showthread.php?t=2119) And maybe try to get Image verification to register to the forum?

Could you please make these changes optional? I liked it the way it was. :P

I just made the change to greengold in the last few days. It is still the same as when I first made the change.
I flipped to default and to greenleaf, and I like the header. Very nice. I do like the default best (especially after the changes) but I wont be using it until the digg links are either removed or only attached to the thread and not every post.

Right. I liked default. Could you please turn it back and make a new version for this modified forum?

I saw all the green, thought it was St. Patty's Day and began drinking.
My day is now shot, but I'm having FUN!!!

Karen, scroll to the bottom and on the bottom right select "Greenleaf" That should change it back to the old for you.

No, that changes it to Greenleaf. I like greenleaf even less; I liked it just fine with the old default.

Please give us back the default blue design as an option. The green is irritating to my eyes. This new version is not nearly as awful as greenleaf (or greengold), but would it be possible for you to please let us still have the option of sticking with blue default?
Thank you...
I like the new header image and general look, but now for some reason there is a wide margin on the left side of my browser and the right side is cut off. I have to keep sliding the bottom scroll bar over on every page in order to read it or click any buttons. Is there a way to fix that?
Edit: Never mind. I found that when I switch to default style, it centers normally.

What theme are you using? For the Greenleaf theme a new fixed width header is being developed. :-)

Karen,
Did you have any trouble having to wait for Digg to look up all the comments when using the default?
I liked the default best, but it became too frustrating for me to wait for it to open the long threads.
If you were not having trouble, do you have any idea why I was having to wait?
Greenleaf and GreenGold load almost instantly, but Default was taking about 1-2 seconds per post because of all the digg lookups. It was almost unbearable opening threads with 100+ posts.

I get the same thing...I thought it was just Vista. I am using Vista with IE. Default makes it look right for me, too.
Edit: GreenGold looks OK, too.

No, never had that problem.

I like! The new default theme must be the theme I was using, because I have not noticed a change! =) So I guess I like that as well.

I guess we are no longer the unofficial forum for the Aptera. Looks like the additional line was removed.

Well if we aren't the official forum of Aptera, then that means we are an unofficial forum of Aptera :)
