I know a lot of people have put in some good work in an effort to figure out the wheelbase dimensions of the Aptera. I pose another questions on the same lines, how big are the LCD screens in the Aptera, both the infotainment and the 360 view screens. I found a screen online that looks identical to the screens show on the Aptera, and its designed to be mounted in a dashboard.

That's an 8.0" diagonal for info-entertain and gps. It also has an anti-glare resistive, probably 5-wire, touchscreen.

Where did you find that piece of information? What about the rearview screens?

Am I the only one interested in the LCD's screen sizes?

Are you worried they will be too small? They are about the same size as a rearview mirror, and you don't have to turn your head to see them. I'm not too worried about them.

Not having to turn my head is going to be an adjustment in itself. I'm used to looking at those specific three locations as they (by natural physics of mirrors) correlate well in their positions to the thing you're trying to see. I think, over time, it will become quite handy and may even increase driver safety...

Ya. I am a little concerned, since I don’t have 20/20 vision like most people. I hope they are larger than the average rearview mirror, for this would more than likely present a problem reading the speed and other data off the center display. From the videos, it appears that the speed display uses about 1/5 of the display and the secondary information uses about 1/8 of the display. If the screens are the size of typical rearview mirrors, with dynamic backgrounds, at these assumed text sizes, this would make it very difficult to read the text at a glance. I would post some pictures, but I currently don’t have a server.

About how did I know the screen size to be at 8.0". I know for a fact that Steve used off the shelf product whenever he can to save time and money. I also know for a fact that standard color LCD screen sizes come in ..., 6.4", 8", 10.4", ... and so on. Based on the size of Steve's hand when he demonstrated in the PM video, I estimated that it's must be 8.0". :)
