The wind noise is distracting.
iMiev web pages sometimes reports 100 miles of range. That is on a Japanese mileage standard course. EPA range is 76 miles. Top speed is 81 mph.
Steering wheel on the "Wrong-hand" side :scared0011:
I like the video of the soldier driving the car. It does suggest that we can either have them drive EVs here or Humvees in places like Iraq.
Last January in Detroit, I got the meet up with the fellow who made the video (he sez the test drive was a week ago). Lucky dog. It's on his websight, along with a nice writeup he did.
Man, if both the Aptera and the iMiEV were available in New Mexico today, well I would have a tough time deciding which one to buy. They both have there pluses and minuses. And they are both really nice cars.

Aptera had a window of oportunity to establish an unconventional product.
That window may be closing?

I really liked the earlier iMiEVs Sport model. Then they restyled it, and got a bad case of the uglies, last prototype I saw. :P

Looks about as safe as a smart car and just as ugly. I guess making a good looking car is harder than I think. But I know when you design it based off an egg it's hard to think it'll look good.

I dunno, man. They are starting to grow on me. Did you see the pictures of the 25 of them coming off the boat in the U.K. When they aren't painted red and white they look okay...
