Hello, I am flasher702. I'm a design verification tech for networking hardware in seattle. Been following Aptera for a ~year. I have a technical background and I've installed two small PV systems so I generally know WTF I'm talking about but feel free to correct me if I'm being an idiot.
Also, I want to post a URL to an external site.

What is this URL you're wanting to post?

Welcome aboard!
If your SOLE purpose for posting is to hit the post-limit so you can post your external link, everything will most likely get deleted.
If your link is Aptera related, then it's no problem. If not, you'll look a LOT like a spammer. We try very hard to keep the SPAM on here to a minimum.

Yeah, I already noticed the forum nazis here have super-fast reflexes... even though I'm obviously not a spammer and said exactly what I was trying to do and they had to delete 3 posts instead of 1 to try and prevent me from spamming.

Well, as one of the 'forum nazis' on here, can you explain to me how someone who posts things like "a blank post for count", "one more post to go", etc., is 'obviously not a spammer'?
Once you get past the post-limit, you could post a link to Russian porn, yes? How are we supposed to know what your link is about? The only info you left was "I'm trying to post a link". Being less cryptic might work a bit better for you.

Oh, and referring to others as "forum nazis" on your first day on a forum probably isn't the best way to win friends.
Now if you'll excuse me, I've just invaded Forum Czechoslovakia and duped Forum Neville Chamberlain, and now it's off to Forum Poland and Forum World Conquest!!

@Jimmy
You could read the OP where I'm talking about Aptera, how my background relates to EVs, and how I would like to be treated on these forums on an ongoing basis, with no mentions of russian porn sites, clearly indicating that I want to make on-topic posts. And you could have enough patience to wait for me to actually post a link and potentially remove ONE post and ban me all in one shot, or go "hey, that was nice of flasher702 to posts reference links to what they're talking about", instead of removing 3 posts and messaging me asking me what I'm going to post about. Between the two of you there was roughly 5x as much effort put into trying to stop me from posting a URL as would have gone into reacting to me posting links to something inappropriate, like russian porn sites, and then removing them and banning me.
@Karen
Luckily for me I'm not here to make friends ;) I'm here to talk about EVs with a heavy emphasis on those produced by Aptera and topics related to that. Would be nice if I could just do it. The 4 post limit was a bit strict already. Removing my posts because I threaded them under my introduction, out of everyone's way, instead of going out and making inane replies to 4 other threads is a bit extreme and a waste of your time and mine. All you had to do was wait for 1 more post and you'd have seen what I wanted to post without even having to ask me. But RULES MUST BE FOLLOWED I'm sure. Otherwise it would be chaos and porn everywhere. Or you could just relax a bit.
btw, nice EV range estimator. Has anyone even released enough specs to put other vehicles on there? Tesla Roadster at least should be added.

The only one that has been validated so far is the Tesla Roadster; it's in the presets. Results are generally about 2-4% error except when Google gets its traffic estimates wrong. Real-time traffic data support is pending.
Welcome to the forum. Since you're new here, you're probably not aware of the big spammer problem we've had, and hence the reason we're jumpy with potential spam.

I wonder if evmavin has any notebooks about some of the vehicles he has seen and/or done. Whatcha say? It might be good for interpolation given body design or weight or ??

I certainly wouldn't be opposed, if there was enough data.

I don't think the info I have would be valuable as it was more for my own use in tweaking settings and driving style so there is not a long data log. I would be glad to to do this but at the moment I;m EV less:(
