I am skeptical about the post of a 4-wheel 5-seater Aptera. Perhaps you have other much more credible source that what Google has reported back to me:

Aptera Has Entered the X Project

While still trying to generate more interest for the Aptera Car 2 Series model, the people Aptera motors also announced Project X. This is a four-wheeled 5 passenger version. These new versions which already being conceptualized further by Aptera is more mainstream. They would want to improve and give bigger versions of the Aptera car to certainly accommodate bigger families. What is good is that the trademark look and design will still be the same according to Steven Fambro who said “you’ll know it’s an Aptera”. Aptera is definitely trying to show how it wants to impact the automobile industry as soon as possible.

Not news, and not entirely accurate. The last we heard from Aptera, it was going to be a 4-seater, not five. Codenamed "Palomar", they've been referring to it as the "4-series".

Agree with Karen. Unfortunately, this doesn't seem to be new news. Although, Aptera has called their 4 seater "Project X" along with Palomar. Here's one of many hits on Google that I found for "Aptera Project X" http://ultrafutureworld.com/2008/08/24/super-efficient-cars-and-google/ (article is from August 24, 2008

In December 2007, Aptera founder Steve Fambro mentioned “Project X,” a four-wheeled five-passenger model. In March of this year, Fambro again suggested the company has “other projects that are certainly more mainstream” in the pipeline.

I searched Google because I was hoping that this was new news because I'm interested in the 4 passenger Aptera whatever they end up calling it, my guess is 4e.

No hits on Google News, but I did find the following from Google Blog search from May 8, 2009, but it doesn't seem to be new news either, unfortunately http://nabilcars4u.blogspot.com/2009/05/club-aptera.html

A more conventional third model, called Project X or perhaps Typ-2, is now in the design phase, with plans for a four-wheeled chassis and seating up for to five
