I don't post too often... but I posted a link to local a news story that stated that the aptera wouldn't be produced until summer 2010.... The thread I started was removed... Why would the admin do this? I could understand if it was because I was being disrespectful or violating the terms of the forum rules... but I didn't... Totally Uncool...
Only makes me wonder, What are the forum admins trying to hide?

It wasn't me who deleted it, but I'd wager that the thread was a duplicate -- all too common an occurance with news reports.
And also, in the future, please wait for the facts to come out before accusing mods of censorship. :)

Please we do not try to hide anything. I never even deleted a topic since I am on here. I just moved it the the Still On For 2009 launch? thread because it seemed to cover the same topic. I will move this to forum related discussion. Please keep on posting.

Would it be too much to ask that the moderators privately inform the poster where their posts have been moved, with brief explanation? I think this would dispel the sense of censorship greatly. btw, thank you moderators for your administration work.

I would maybe suggest the moderators ease off their moderation. Still on for 2009 launch? vs Summer of 2010.. not surprised are not duplicate threads.
They are similar but not exactly the same... I could understand if the OP of the other thread also provided the KGTV news story in his original post... But he didn't...
I understand that the mods don't want too much of the same subject, but when you alienate people in an already slow forum by killing their posts you are killing the conversation. Maybe this is the reason this forum is so slow?
Every forum has duplicate threads..... Most forum users point the users to the duplicate threads and then the newest thread usually dies... I guess you cannot do this here because there is so little to talk about..
No worries though... This is my last post. Given the current timeline of the Aptera, I will most likely be purchasing a Nissan Leaf. The fact that Aptera cannot even communicate their timeline deviations to people who have already put down deposits speaks volumes on the integrity of the organization..
I don't mind delays for a good safe vehicle... But when you cannot even communicate with people who have made deposits then you have no business selling anything.
