Given the recent events at Aptera and the swell of activity on the forum, I thought a "Dear Founders" thread would make it easier to retrieve focused, less-noisy feedback directly from potential customers to Aptera's founders.
Please place your "Dear Founders" letters here.
If similar feedback to these recipients exists in other threads, I would encourage moderators to move them, or the O.P. to copy/paste them here.
If this thread establishes itself, I would encourage participants to please keep posts focused on direct communication to the founders.
Thanks,
VirtualEric

Dear Founders,
I honestly appreciate everything you have done to create such an amazing, unique, and out of the box company. It has given me a hope and a faith that all car companies aren't just out for money- that some can be out for helping the environment and making things better for everyone. This company is a breath of fresh air in the smog of polluted corruption from the current automakers. Your purpose with the Aptera is purer than the other EV automakers- you proved that with your down to earth, friendly company and your select staff. You all, with one fell swoop, drew me and so many others into your company's plans and thoughtful innovations for the future, and got us to believe in a product that has never been seen before.
Your ideas and company made so many of us finally think, "Wow, this is actually a company that cares. This is actually a company that isn't interested in how much $$$ they can make, as much as they are interested in how they can make an eco-friendly car as efficient as possible while being kind and considerate to their supporters instead of siphoning money out of them. This is a different kind of company altogether- this is Aptera." You all gained many people's trust and made them believe in a better product and a better company instead of mindless industrialization and nothing new. You all broke so many car mold barriers and used innovation and insight to make not only a stylish car, but also a super efficient, all electric, safe car.
I don't think I (or a lot of other people) could have asked for more. And for that, you get my eternal gratitude. I truly hope that this company rises from the crisis it is in and becomes one of the top automakers in the world, because your company just deserves it. Long live the Aptera, and long live Steve Fambro's dream. :logo:
Sincerely,
Sapphire Dragon

Hello Steve and Chris,
I wonder if an open source super efficient vehicle would be a better way to go? I've been advocating this sort of thing for a while now, and here's a little blurb from my blog: http://neilblanchard.vox.com/library/post/open-source-information.html The idea is already out there -- they just mentioned it on the 'On Point' radio show about the renewed energy of inventors and tinkerers.

The idea is the most important thing, and spreading it around means that you get the input of everyone who uses the information.
