Hi Guys, well the forum and enthusiasm has been growing! We are almost at 500 members. Here are a few things I'd like to say:

1 - Chris Anthony(COO) of Aptera and his Associates have been browsing the forum. If you have any concerns or ideas please feel free to air them on the forum. Got this Message from one of Chris's associates:

"We appreciate the forum's enthusiasm for our vehicle greatly, and are taking all of its concerns into consideration."

2 - If you feel we need to add a section/topic to the forum feel free to suggest it.

Brian :)

the main issues as seen here are:

license plate size

wheel well size...and wheel well height for curbs (will it hit the curb or ride above it? will the passenger wheel well be higher cut than the drivers side? or of a different material that hides the scratches?

for me, and it is probably too late to change this, but i would love the wheel well to be a bit closer to the car, if it could be done without making the car unstable... basically two reasons...my garage door is 7 feet 10 inches...so if the wheel wells are over 7 feet, well i have to be a very slow and careful parker, and two...well if you park on the street and you give yourself some room from the curb, don't want to scuff the passenger wheel well after all, it seems like the car will be sticking out a bit...plus people won't be use to a car that hangs out from the body so much (yes people don't get too close passing parked cars because of the rear view mirrors. but mirrors hang out a few inches...these seem to hang out a foot...and they are low...people might not see just how far they have to miss the main body by to also miss the "legs")... personally i park in a garage at home and at work...and i don't parallel park at the grocery store...but it could be a issue...

there are also the questions of the windows (pop out or roll down or a combination), and AC and radio etc etc....

but i must say i love it and can't wait...well i will wait, but i hate waiting...

good job so far, just update the site as much as possible and get us some info on the width and on the windows if and when you can

thanks

Brian,
Thanks for your work to bring us this great site.
It's nice to know someone from Aptera checks in periodically to see what's being discussed here. They must get a kick out of some of the wild speculations that occur.

How about a section to post where the car will be on display?(will only work with insider info:( )
It would be nice if Aptera had a spokesperson that could throw us a bone here and there.

How about some more smilies:D

If Chris Anthony is reading the forum, he’ll know we’re very interested in what batteries will end up in Aptera, but know if they’re negotiating he couldn’t possibly say.

I personally would be interested in what optional interiors might be available, am not wild about the 90’s Microsoft beige color of the steering wheel, armrests, and dash. Exterior is brilliant, but I’ll be on the inside.

I think the most important aspect of the Aptera is just how soon they'll be able to get me a nice, sleek red Typ 1-h to my door. I also think its important we take up donations to buy a sandwich for the emaciated Aptera model.
