Well I am not sure if anybody has posted this question. Here it goes.
Your in your Aptera, you get a flat tire.
How easy will it be to change a flat and is there going to be a spare?
Sounds silly but how do would that work?

Aptera needs to use these tires and we dont have to worry about flats http://www.abbysguide.com/ope/discussions/14020-0-1.html

I'd almost forgot about tweels, are they production yet?

AFAIK, tweels are not ready for high-speed operation at this point; they're still largely a research product. There are some low speed applications already, though.

So I guess that means nobody really knows the proper, safe way to change a tire on a 3-wheeler? I'm guessing that was the first of the OP's two-part question (the second part being about the specific type of tires)? I'm curious, too...

Question about tires and changing tires have came up before.

The tires are existing off-the-shelf tires - they are the same tires as the Honda Insight.

I think the side panel on each wheel pant can come off easily for changing out flat tires.

Aptera will probably provide adaptors for existing car jack if it does not have any sizable point for lifting.

Standard hydraulic jacks at service stations will not be able to lift Aptera. Fortunately, I don't think Aptera needs to be lifted for repair or service. The panels can come off for servicing the internal components.

I don't think Aptera can be towed on its wheels. I don't see tow hooks any where on the car. If your Aptera needs towing, you need to ask for a flatbed tow truck.
