100 Reasons Why We Are Buying the Aptera Typ-1

Thought it would be fun to create a list of all the reasons that are driving us to buy the Aptera. Add to the list by replying and adding 1, 2, or 3 reasons why you are looking forward to the car of the future!:

I will start with the obviouse ones:

1. Oil Prices are too high, this car will save me a ton of money over the years on Gasoline
2. The Girls will love it! :)
3. We are Protecting the environment in a very big way.

5. An engineers dream!
6. Actually quite practical for my purposes (commuting, plenty of room for shopping on the way home)

21. Something barely mentioned on these boards: the recycled materials for the interior!!! Not recyclable (who can you trust to actually bother with the hassle of recycling materials properly *afterward*??) -- but uses already-RECYCLED materials. Big plus. HUGE plus. Reduces the guilt of buying a brand new car, whose new birth alone is bad for the environment.
22. LED lights!! Again, huge environmental plus due to its low, low energy consumption. LOVE YOU STEVE.

23.Makes much less of a dust plume when driving down a dirt road.
24. Won't blind the people driving behind you on a wet road with spray being kicked up by your vehicle.
25. It will save the lives of countless insects and birds, which will slip on past unharmed in the slipstream rather than impacting on the front of the vehicle.
26. Won't have to wash it as often as a "normal" car since there will be very few smashed bugs (or dried road salt in the winter) on the front or dust/dried salt collecting on the back.
27. The windshield wiper blades should last longer since you won't be having to use them as much since fine water droplets can slip on past without impacting on the windshield.
28. Its 3-wheel configuration should reduce the "duel ruts" that typically form on a gravel driveway.
29 With its low Cd, you'll never hit the "drag wall" when driving at normal highway speeds
