Aptera did have dramatic and dangerous reactions in handling but so did some of the other contestants as seen in the video.

And wow, the Tango handles crazy good for how thin it is.

I would like to see how the amp sky is doing.

Too bad Nissan and ford and fiat didn't put their EVs in, but I guess this isn't a mainstream car company test. It would have legitimized the contest out of the geeks only crowd...but I can see why the big boys wouldn't want the bother nor the risk.

The Aptera looks amazingly unsafe. They really need to get their act together on the suspension. I will be getting my money back if they don't. The tires look like crap also. Does anyone know what they are using? The anti-lock braking system appears as if it isn't working either. This video tells me more about the car than wilbur and mccammons have told me in 18 months.

The width of the car is definitely a hinderance in this test. The Tango cruised throug since it only needed to swerve about 7' (twice the width of the vehicle. The Aptera needed to go twice as far in the same distance.

The "Wingless" Aptera seems to have at least one wing. See 1:05.
