The Xprize is a big, big deal for the futures of Aptera, everyone else we follow, and the automotive industry in general.
How about an X-Prize forum where there can be sub-forums about each competitor and each phase of the competition etc?
Something like this:

X-Prize
----*sticky* X-Prize links & competition rules
----*sticky* list of teams & team links
---- *stickies* Sub forums for each team w/ sticky listing team's current status in X-Prize to be posted by a volunteer who is closely following that team.
---- Threads discussing each phase of the competition, links to articles etc.

This would be a great way to archive a historic competition that will determine the futures of these innovative companies that we're all following, not to mention it'll be far easier to track the competition and competitors without scattering it across the current Aptera sub-forums.

Seems like a pretty broad request for a forum that's mostly Nissan Leaf / Aptera discussion...

Isn't there already an X Prize Forum? *Googles* Oh lookie, there is one:

X PRIZE COMMUNITY FORUM (http://genomics.xprize.org/forum/viewforum.php?f=9)

So far that looks like a graveyard forum -- no one is participating.

Yeah, I signed up and posted twice, and both posts have to go through a moderator... Maybe it has not gotten to a "critical mass" yet?

It looks all set up. Very nicely, it seems...
