Last time I heard 600 miles range for Type1h. I suspect the fuel tank can hold about 3 gal.

I think I read it has a 5gal tank though I don't remember where.

It starts out at 1000mpg off full charge, then diminishes to 300, then finally 130mpg over time giving roughly ~600+ miles range for the Typ-1h.

I would be happy with 2 gallon gas tank. Gas itself ways so much. For a typical driver you would still need to fill-up once a month. Or just keep 2 gallon can of gas of home.:)

I think I read the Typ 1H can go 40 miles on charge before the generator kicks in. So if your daily commute is less then 20 miles each way the only time you'd even use gas is if you took longer trips.

That fits me to a T (Work is 6.x miles away)! Except unfortunately..... the Condo I bought 6 years ago has a Parking "Pad" (not garage!) so I have no way to charge my Aptera.

I'll definitely be looking to sell as soon as the Market allows and buy a place with a garage and power outlet in said garage.

So if you charge your car every few days (50-100 miles for me), you can get close to 800 mpg?

If I understand it correctly lets say your commute is 60 miles. 30 one way, 30back.

The Typ-1h doesn't use gas to charge the batteries for the first 40 miles.

You'll only use gas for 20 of the 60 miles of your commute (60-40=20).

Using that chart you'd get the equivalent of around 600mpg for that 60 mile trip.

The less distance you drive, the better MPG you get. As long as you charge it!

Me I will not be able to charge so I will receive 130mpg. Still very respectable.
