So strange I had to share...
One Aptera executive, Dave Oakley, sought out our new Famgro location today, gawked at the employees and considered coming through the front door. This was around 2pm. PW needs to give that man so much to do he doesn't have time for snooping or maybe it's in that unstated job description.
Ever since Steve went on "vacation", the Aptera executives have been preoccupied with what he's up to. On several occasions there have been visits to previous locations and now this one and emailed accusations and assumptions. Strange behavior! It seems they are concerned about something. It's irrational and as I've said before dysfunctional. A bit of advice to "them".... Don't live your life so that you have to look over your shoulder.

Sorry to hear about that Tricia.
Personally, I don't think the strange behavior is over. It will just continue until people like Dave have something constructive to do.

PBW created a very bizarre culture at Aptera. Pretty much the opposite of the culture shown us in the videos that Steve and Chris created. Since PBW was incapable of actually doing any of the things he professed, the trickle down effect was paranoia, lies, and a peacock strut to distract anyone from knowing what was NOT happening. Very sad. It shows how a minority, especially when given the power to do so, can completely disrupt a business (the bad egg principle).
And in response to Chucho - I'm still a fan of the Aptera vehicle. Absolutely NOT a fan of those running the company. How could I be? What did they achieve? In two years, with over 25 million dollars, they made one vehicle. ONE!! Vehicle. And they were the ones brought in to make production happen. FAIL!
Sorry for the rant...

Good Grief Tricia! It's just so hard to believe that this kind of bizarre activity goes on.
While I'm only an engineer and not a psych major I have started three companies and had 30 years of experience working with employees. I also have been a volunteer fire chief for 10 years working with numerous firemen and unfortunately with numerous "Politicians". I gained even more experience on how people behave while doing battle with trying to build a much-needed new fire station. When we were trying to do that project there seem to be hundreds of people that said you can't do it that way, it costs too much, build it as a metal building, it will be cheaper, we don't need to spend that kind of money and on and on and on. Well, we did finally get to build the station, it was not out of steel, it has a beautiful tower with a bell ( donated ) and arched truck Bay doors with keystones in them. It is a pretty building and in fact its basic design has been copied three times in two different states by other fire Departments. Interestingly I have not heard one negative comment since it was built. Only positive comments. Hummm. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that we build it cheaper than what a metal building would've cost us and we built it under budget!
And what about all those naysayers? They don't seem to have a problem calling us in the middle of the night if they have a fire.......
So while like I said I'm only an engineer that as had ample opportunity to observe how people behave and I believe I have gotten to the point where I think I can be somewhat capable of defining many peoples basic psyche. In the case of PW it is my opinion that he is a extremely insecure person. This type of person Will go way out of their way to make themselves look good by tromping on everybody that remotely makes them look bad. If he had confidence in himself he would be able to say things like: Well, we tried this but we had problems with such and such part of it but now we believe we have it under control and are moving rapidly ahead again. Now if He were to do this several times he would actually gain much respect that he so desperately desires. Instead, he gets the total opposite - total disrespect.
It's too bad that we can't change him because he will never admit that he just might be wrong. And so a beautiful dream fades slowly off into the sunset.
It's just so sad.

Haha!
Steve and Chris were a great team and remain good friends today. Maybe someday they'll start another company together. (No innuendos implied.)
