Bill Gross
"Aptera Super-Streamlined 200 MPG Vehicle
This is a vehicle I have been dreaming of getting into full production for years. Still working on it..."
This was taken from the Google+ network a few days ago. So it seems he still has hope, but not whats needed to put more money in the pot.

Just a thought, but maybe getting rid of the people who have FAILED to bring the vehicle to production and FAILED to bring in money to help reach production would be a good start.
Just a thought...

Making money isn't the same as making a product. Much less a product from scratch.
How much is he into Aptera for? Maybe he'll get a PP or SO when they close the doors.
Yep this whole thing still sucks.

Friday, July 22.....had a Carlsbad, CA delivery this morning .... so....
... just drove by the new Aptera location in Carlsbad @ 1:50 pm PST this Friday afternoon....
Great looking building.....
drove completely around the building....
parking lot empty except for two cars parked in front....
about 8 cars were parked in the back of the building....
the Aptera transporter (18 wheeler) was parked in the back....
two guys were at a table in the sun at the back of the building....
went back to the front....
parked in front....
went to the front doors.... all locked ....
looked inside the windows.... nobody home...
receptionist desk looked "lived in" but empty, no one there....
there is staircase that went from the lobby to the upstairs with PP? parked inside right of the stairs and SO? behind glass beyond the stairs.....
no people.... crickets...... crickets.....

Just for the heck of it I went to their website which I haven't done in a long time and you know what? I couldn't even see how they would take your order. No order link or anything.......

The Aptera reservation link has been "temporarily out of service" for some months now.

Steve might be able to give some explanation. It could be that PBW hasn't paid a fee that came due on the account. Or, after a time, they are no longer allowed to add new reservation money into the account. A lot of possibilities come to mind as to why they are no longer able to take reservations.
And I think it's been over a year that they've been temporarily out of service. Remember when Antjel was trying to get a reservation? Karen was still around making comments.
