When it is quite cold outside, and one needs to heat the Aptera,
it might be difficult to get the heat pump's cold-end enough colder
than the outside air to get any heat into the cabin.
However, the electric motor itself might serve as a source
of heat for the cold-end to use, instead of the outside air.

When it is quite hot outside, the exterior "hot-end" needs to be
very, very hot, and ventilated. Again, it might be difficult to get
"sufficient" cooling of the "hot-end" on a hot day, especially with
the heating load of the sun shining directly through the windows.

Somebody suggested putting reflectors over the inside of the
windows, and that would probably help a lot. Since CA now
prohibits fastening or attaching anything (with small exceptions)
to the front or side windows, what are others thinking of doing?

Thanks, Gary

No, not while parking, but while driving.

No suction cup or other attachment to most
of the windshield, and to the side windows.

I was asking about keeping comfortable while driving.

I’m planning on tinting the front windows with 25% window tint. Cuts down on the heat, saves the interior from sun damage, and it just looks cool.
