When I first came here, I wanted people to know where I was on the list. I thought it was cool. Now my name seems too cliche to me. Arg.

Any way I can change it? Or do I Just have to make a new account.:(

I doubt it. I PM-ed Admin for a week merely attempting to change my email address (old one got spammed out of existence). Had to end up creating an entirely new account.

Could you get a new account and write 'formerly known as...' in the description below your name? Is that something we can change, by the way? How long until I'm no longer a junior? (Not that I'm in any hurry to be a senior, either.)

Yea, "senior" sounds horrible. We gotta get those names ready.

You can change your email. Check the CP. CP>Edit email and Password>Edit Email Address.:D

That’s what it says, and I did that, but good luck trying it. Didn’t work and after numerous PMs to Admin, he could not help and I had to start a new account.

As for a name change, PM me what you want done. Only thing is, once I change it you will not be able to login with your old account and you won't know when I changed it since I can't PM you back at your old name.

Of course you didn’t get a PM from my new user account, I was writing about an account I was forced to change from. My old user name was “cogito” and I PM-ed three times between 3/4/08 and 3/9/08. To be fair you did eventually reply (on 3/13/08) which I only found out today after logging on to my old account. I had already taken advice to start a new account, a week w/out aptera was too long.
