Yeah, Matthijs, I had seen this video from Wired. It is intriguing to see what the single wheelwell looks like in back under the cabin floor. What makes me wince, however, is when Steve raps on the Aptera's composite shell with the pointed edge of a ruler to demonstrate how durable it is. It's a lot tougher body --and thus safer-- than one might assume from a cursory glance at the vehicle. But... yow! :eek: I sure hope he didn't put any minuscule nicks in its surface.

Yeah I had the same reaction, hammering on a million dollar prototype. :eek:
Well it sure shows he has allot of trust in the materials. It will be interesting what the long term effects will be on nicks or scratches.
I also wonder in case of a minor accident, let's say 5 mph. Will the damage be easy to fix or will the construction bent? Read high repairing costs.
