Spark-EV Comet (http://www.spark-ev.com/comet.html#)
Also looks like an interesting EV. Any one heard about this one? :)
Another interesting three wheel design!

It is encouraging that Spark already has several other economical NEVs for sale. The Comet would be their first attempt at US manufacturing (the other models are manufactured in China). I wish them the best of luck getting it built for $32k (all the images are rendered).

That is a funny page, especially their Comment about ZAP. :D I noticed they didn't mention Aptera though.
I think if they are planning to sell any of these soon they should be showing a prototype around, no? Where is it?

Right! I wondered what the unnamed "striped" vehicles were (the Xebra). There is an EV dealership in my neighborhood that mainly sells ZAP NEVs.

Indeed. It is harder than it looks to make a prototype vehicle. I'm frankly amazed that Aptera was able to do it in just a couple of years. Having practical boat-building experts on the team probably helped considerably.

Checked out their vehicles, the main thing that stuck out in my mind were their vehicles only lasted for 500 charges. Yikes. Distance per charge * # charges = lifetime of vehicle. Of course you can replace the batteries but they didn't list the replacement cost. The prices of the vehicles were crazy-low though! If that bus had a longer distance and could go freeway speed it'd be great for start up public transport or "party bus" companies.

Spark EV is a scam. It's owner, Michael Papp, has apparently been in the con business for a long time -- first real estate, then ebay scams, then general auto scams, and now EV scams. He even scammed the guy who came up with the name for the company, "Spark EV". Google it. Here's a couple for you:

There's a bit of a discussion about learning to recognize scams here:

The REAL DESIGNER of the "COMET", just posted this on the Venture Vehicles Forum:
Hi there...I'm Gianpaolo Alvino...I AM the conceptual designer of the Comet...and not Michael as I readed somewhere. In few words...I'm that "italian designer" he talk about in that ridicolous page on his website...Well, this post is just to add my contribute to this story...There are a lot of articles about this on the net... In any case, to be short…I delivered the project, but I was never paid. So…finally he was arrested…I won’t ever receive the payment, but at least now I know that the justice has prevailed! Warm regards from Italy...I hope to see my projects running on your streets one day. Ciao!
Just goes to further show what a crook Michael Papp of Spark-EV, really was.

Yeah I posted about this a while back. Link (http://www.apteraforum.com/showpost.php?p=2209&postcount=1)
I like this one! It from the same designer as from the Spark (Scam) EV Comet.
