Wow very nice video indeed! Thx for posting! At 1:27, Is it me or is the side window completely different from the one in the Typ-1 currently? Maybe this one can roll down? Or is it a drawing on the wall? I am confused now lol.

#2125 here! Can't wait for this car to hit the road! I own a Chrysler Prowler and just love the wheel configuration on the Aptera. Don't you think it looks better with dark tinted windows? Gives it a great look!

Very, very neat video. Amazing how fast Aptera has matured from "Steve building a wooden car mockup" to a very professional operation.

As for the strange window thing, that is a funny-shaped window mounted on a wall, with an Aptera drawn around it.

This looks like the new office. Their old office on Loker Ave is nowhere near big enough to accomodate all that.

This looks like the new office. If it's the new space, it seems kind of odd that they'd mention "outgrowing our space" (near the end of the video). Hmmm ...

Previous quote from Aptera is that they will need 100,000 sq ft by 2010 to make 10K cars per year.

Looks like the Mark-0 was a true gull wing door , and the new door actually appears to attach to the front windshield beam , probably a structural decision to move it.

On the second thought, maybe it is the old space.

Ah, you're right. I wrote that just before sleeping. On the Aptera youtube homepage it says posted 1 month ago even though it's only been a day since last month. Cool.

I love the Aptera artwork on the walls. That's the sort of thing that will combat the "it looks ugly" stigma.

It's still there (and working). Try again! (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Ogy6_KHE4A&eurl=http://www.autobloggreen.com/2008/05/02/video-take-a-guided-tour-of-the-aptera-factory/)

Thanks, drivin98. I finally did access it - went through the back door, found the email in my spam box with the URL on it. The old saying goes, no news is good news, but that is definately not true in this case. Looks like the factory will soon be up and running. I wish them luck and many years of prosperity. Maybe, just maybe, the demand for the Aptera will allow them to expand their sales into neighboring States real soon. I guess hoping for that to happen next Monday would be asking too much ?!!

A quick work on the calculator says that this building is going to be about the size of a football field on each side. That's big

I went to school with Chris, we were not friends, but in the same fraternity. I did not know he was involved until another friend pointed it out.
