Target @ Summer '09 for all existing pre-orders

Dunno if everyone got the email, but Aptera hopes to have all about 1000 pre-orders shipped out to customers by the Summer of 2009, starting first with the 1e and working in the 1h whenever it becomes production-ready. No concrete dates or plans yet, which suggests to me they're still working out funding and space.

So I thought, estimating that we give them about 20 months to ship out 1000 units, that makes 50/mo, or about 13/wk, 3/day. Looks like we're looking at the lower bound being reality here.

Will this mean that the roll-out will be a year later then originally planned or will they start late 2008 and have all the orders ready within a year?

They will start in Q4 2008 and have all the orders by Q3 or Q4 of 2009.

I never recieved an email either.
I ran across this on apteraclub.com:

* They have 980 pre-orders (As of 12/31/2007)

* They plan to make only 30 cars in 2008

* They hope to make 2000/year "eventually"
