I see there's a video clip about Aptera on CNN (cnn.com) today. I guess the performance specs are becoming more solidified. They're talking 230 mpg now. And also heard something about 'crossing country on a tank fuel.'

Na, it's just journalist being lazy and repeating old information instead of doing the leg work required to get the facts right. Aptera has an honest and well written explaination of MPG for a PHEV on their website. I'll be amazed if any of the major news outlets will explain it as well anytime before the official launch.

Glad you saw this SR-71. CNN must be combing file footage to respond to the NBC story. This story was actually done back in March ( I hope they're out of that location by now).
Aptera must have had a media day around Mar 21 since in a lot of the vids Steve and Chris are wearing the same clothes.
