New Posts feature

two reasons for this post. First I was tired of looking at the title of the post with the bleeped language. No offense, but it just stayed there on top too long.

Second. Has anybody else had problems with the new posts button on the top of the page recently. It has always worked quite well, but now it does not always show me all the new posts, and sometimes it indicates that there are unread posts in a thread that I have viewed the most recent. I can go through the pages of the thread and view all of them and it remains. When it does not show me the new posts, I have to use the quicklink to today's posts in order to get the newest ones displayed. I rebooted my computer the first time and it seemed to work for a day and then it came right back. I've since tried rebooting and it never resolves the problem.

This forum has always been kind of funky and inconsistent with that for me.

I have had this problem since the beginning of the year.

it just randomly stops working. Not sure why. It happened to me again today. Saw on the home page there were new posts and when I clicked the "new posts" it took me to the page that said there were no new updates. Had to manually navigate to the new posts. I've given up looking for a pattern because there does not appear to be one....just deal with it I guess.
