Cool Don't hold your breath

I locked-in the first day they asked and never received a confirmation. I personally don't really care much - if they don't offer me the coupon, I will complain then.

If you feel like you really need a response, just send another lock-in letter to family@aptera.com and request a read-receipt - then keep it.

I also asked for the lock-in option last week, but haven’t heard back.
They need to hire a few more public relations people. So far they seem either overwhelmed or tone deaf.
As a former UT employee, I know where they can find a few out of work reporters who would love the paycheck.

Aptera outsources their net-related services.

Well, just heard back from my followup. I'm on the "locked-in" list, and they apologized for the backlog, given how busy they are.

With all that has been going on for them the last month or so alone, I can certainly understand that.

Sorry for my new-ness, what is the difference between getting your reservation and "locking in"?

when you lock in, your $500 becomes non-refundable and you get credit for $750 when yourAptera is delivered.
It does not advance your delivery or have any other advantage.

And welcome

Is there a deadline you have to lock in your reservation by?

I asked them about this a little while ago, and here was their reply:

Subject: RE: APTERA Family! lock-in

We do not have a set deadline for the lock-in program as of yet. In the future we will have a set time frame for lock-in programs and we will further announce the Aptera Family for the lock-in deadline.
Thank you for your continued support with Aptera!
