Default ***1st Public Showing of the Aptera Tonight 2/5/09 - Long Beach, CA***

This was too big of an announcement to be burried in another thread, so I've linked it here with thanks going out to ApteraH@3535:

http://apteraforum.com/showpost.php?...2&postcount=79

Can't wait... I'm heading for Long Beach after work... rain or shine!

Hi Mike,

I moved the post too this thread just like Antony's and ApteraH3535 original post. And linked to it from the "Clock" thread to stop that from ticking.
I posted the website a couple of posts above lol. Good work!!

Matthijs-

Please leave this up on the front page because of the short notice.

Thanks,

A bit late for me to attend, with such late notice, but at least we'll get to see photo's of one in the rain!

From the other thread on this topic:

I am, again, jealous. When they have a showing in New Mexico I will surely be there .

As for questions:

What is the range at a steady 55 mph with the standard pack size.

What is planned for the back area? child seat? (If you want to suck up and Steve is there, ask, "How is Phoebe?")

Ask, "I've heard that the width is being looked into. Are there definite plans to decrease the width? Can I quote you on that? How much are you hope to shave off?"

That's it for me (battery and all that is not going to be given out at this time I assume.)

Have a great time. I hope the weather is kind and stops the rain long enough to get a good look and feel of the Aptera.

G.M.

Just so you know, the backseat area in the 2e currently contains some extra gear that won't be there in the production versions.
