It would be great if you guys would post that your still interested in having a Aptera on my Save The Aptera Thread @ http://apteraforum.com/search.php?searchid=198320

This is not a official sign up list or anything. Its just for gathering data on the interest levels of members which I hope will help any one interested in giving the Aptera another shot at survival.

And I want to clarify that the "Save The Aptera" thread has NOTHING to do with the new Forum member "saveaptera" (alias "TruthSeeker" and many other guises).

I really am who I say I am and not trying to gather information with any malicious intent. If you want further proof that I am who I say I am go check out my Web page at http://bowlescorp.com/ then follow the links to my other 2 companies Clean Earth Technology and Windstream Power. I really am just trying to help save something of the Aptera dream.

Dave Bowles

GO APTERA!

Dave, I tried to follow your link, but it lead to nowhere. Can you try that again. Even though it was always a remote chance of me getting an Aptera up here in Chicago, but I know I would still love to see it come to fruition.

Well, that's a bit weird. The link just worked for me this morning and aparently it worked for Doug also. But no worries. Try my link for my Clean Earth Technology web site.

http://www.cleanearth.biz/

Or try our Windsream Power web site :

http://windstreampower.com/Human_Pow...tor_Series.php

These don't link back to Bowles Corporation but I'll get that fixed. Please note that the Clean Earth Technology web site is right in the middle of a major upgrade and is not totally completed yet. However this portion of our 3 businesses is the biggest one and it will give you a good idea of who I am.

Windstream Power is a company I acquired when it was on the brink of going bankrupt its self 4 years ago. We have turned it around by upgrading products, designing brand new products, a big increase in marketing efforts, ETC and as it has turned out so far to be the fastest growing part of 3 businesses.

Default Hope Springs Eternal

Did Paul and friends REALLY try to blame the US Government for their failure to ship? I think I just wet myself laughing so hard. I don't know if my APTERA license plate is now worthless or priceless, but I can probably wait another year to see if Aptera or its successor presents hope of an "Ash to Cash" miracle.

If no resurrection looks imminent by 2013, the Tesla S is probably my best alternative.

I met with the Managed Liquidation Company(MLC) today and I believe they are handling this process with the upmost in professionalism and expertise.

They are still in the midst of cataloging all the assets but their plan is to sell all the non-core assets(computes, desk, and tool) in a couple of weeks.

The core assets of the 2e, Composites Technology, and 4 Wheeler will be sold in a separate auction very soon into the new year.

Details on the structure of both are forthcoming and I will keep everyone informed on what I know when I know it.

But I believe that the process is being managed very well and I trust that they are taking great care to keep these assets safe and properly categorized to maximize their value.

To be clear, the MLC was in no way involved with the videos that were released showing the destruction of Aptera bodies. These videos were taken months ago, before Aptera moved from their Oceanside facility down to their new Carlsbad facility. The MLC is protecting the current assets well and I fully expect that ALL of these assets will make it to auction.

Stay tuned for more information but know that ALL that is Aptera is safe and sound and just awaiting liquidation.

Default Still a heartbreak

Thanks Chris for the re-assurance going forward. Even if it's old footage, it makes me sick to think of anyone deliberately wrecking something that people worked hard on. Like bullies kicking down a kid's sandcastle.
